Wren customer Chris Jolly has sold the Cooper Monaco that had been campaigned successfully for quite a few years. This has gone to a new owner in Texas where it is being raced to great success so far.
In place of the Cooper Monaco, a Shelby Mustang GT350 has been acquired and in 2023, some testing a two race meetings have allowed us at Wren to get to grips with the car, understand it, set it up and start to make it into a winner.
It has been tested at Donington, raced at Silverstone and SPA. Unfortunately it broke the gearbox at SPA so the final race meeting that was planned at Portimao had to be cancelled.
Over the winter the car will have a full engine and gearbox rebuild, plus lots of other work to make it reliable and fast.
